In 2016, YILKA ELEKTRİK-ELEKTRONİK SAN. ve TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. became part of KNS OTOMOTİV SAN. ve TİC. A.Ş., which was founded by brothers Onur Kansu and Oğuz Kansu.
KNS Otomotiv operates in three factories located in the Sakarya 1st Organized Industrial Zone, with a total indoor area of 20,000 m², offering solutions for Automotive, Railway, Aerospace, and Defense industries.
Design Center within it’s structure was accredited as a official Design Center by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in 2023, following an official inspection. The Design Center employs 22 Engineers, 2 Technicians, and 1 Support Staff member and provides design solutions in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Plastic Injection, and Plastic Extrusion product groups, creating sectoral production advantages for it’s customers.
In line with customer requirements, KNS Otomotiv manufactures Air Channel Systems, Overhead Luggage Rack Systems, LED Lighting Systems, Wiring Harnesses, Welded and Metal Parts, Driver Cabins, Manual Ramps, and Interior Plastic Trim Components.
With it’s integrated production capabilities, including CNC Aluminum Machining, Laser Cutting, Press Brake Bending, CNC Tube Bending, Electronic SMD Assembly, Tooling, Plastic Injection, Cable Installation, Eccentric and Hydraulic Presses, MIG/TIG and Gas Metal Arc Welding, KNS delivers comprehensive production solutions in-house.
Within the framework of Total Quality Management, KNS ensures full traceability and quality assurance for it’s production processes, certified with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and AS9100.
